On every “Playia” (meaning slope) of our vineyards the juice rises patiently from the root to the berries while the rain naturally drains the soil, creating ideal conditions for ripening the grapes of “Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades”.

Bright and delicate, “Playia Rose 2018” was created from the native varieties of Xynisteri and Maratheftiko, combining in a glass all the characteristics of the Cypriot land. The grapes of this vibrant wine thrive in the high altitude and limestone soil of Omodos village, absorbing all the attributes of its unique terroir.

This special blend, fermented under controlled temperatures and lasting care, has a bright pale salmon color and elegant aromas of stone fruits predominately peach, with notes of white flowers and sweet candy. The mouth presents a unique balance that derives from its delicate tannins combined with its round taste.

It blends harmoniously with colorful fresh salads with Cypriot anari cheese , and delicate seafood dishes but is equally as appealing without any food accompaniment.

It is recommended to be served at 8-10ºC, within two years.
